LADIES

GC to update day-of-game.

Presentation:

This puzzle is designed around paper dolls. Teams get 6 blank "dolls" as well as 6 copies of 4 different types of clothing (24 total), all with velcro that can stick them together.

The dolls each have 4 numbers on them (on the head, chest, pelvis, feet) (so 24 total), the articles of clothing (hats, shirts, skirts, boots) each have 1 letter on them.

Oh, and the dolls also have strange tattoos on them.

Interns also get a sheet of paper with a cryptogram.

Walkthrough:

  1. Solve the cryptogram.

The dolls are designed to help with this. As mentioned, the dolls have numbers and the clothes have letters. For example, the dolls' heads have the numbers 1-6 on them. The hats, which go on their heads, have these letters:

ABJKMN

This is a hint that the numbers 1-6 in the cryptogram are A, B, J, K, M and N, in some order.

The cryptogram solved says:

CENTER OF TATS IS CUT LINE FOR HINT AT FEET
KATENIKITHEIR HEADS
ALEXBESSTHEIR R ARMS
JILLMONATHEIR L LEGS

The "hint at feet" refers to the fact that, in order, in dolls boots spell SWITCH

The dolls can be identified because their names start with the letters on their hats.

So now the interns cut Kate and Niki's heads off, and switch them, Alex and Bess's right arms, and switch them, etc. etc.

This now means that their crazy tattoos happen to look like letters!

In order, these tattoo letters spell LADIES, the answer.

Hinting:

11 8 12 (FOR) and 8 11 (OF) are a great place to start with the cryptogram. Note that the one-letter "words" are actually L and R instead of A and I, so those can be confusing.
