Photo Shoot Solution

How It Works

The maps divided the photographs into smaller sets. For each set, interns were expected to plot the points where the professor was standing in sequence, or simply walk the path of the professor themselves. If you put this data on the provided map, each set traced out a letter. If you sort the letters by rainbow color (the color folder the professor was holding) it spelled GOULD, referring to a nearby building on campus.

Other Hints

The compass shown on the map emphasized the east direction, which was the up orientation for all the letters.

Each photo also showed the professor wearing a different outfit. If you ordered the letters by increasing amounts of clothing, you also got the right answer. If you instead ordered the letters by decreasing amounts of clothing, you got the correct answer, but spelled backwards.
