Teams arrived at the Threshold building in the middle of the night and met their contact Charlotte. After a short speech about how happy she was that they had remained safe so far, she turned on the teams and an assistant trained a [Nerf] gun on the team members while Charlotte tied them up with four ropes and four blindfolds. They were then dragged (gently) to an undisclosed location and left to fend for themselves.

When they managed to free themselves (a simple task, for all but the least coordinated teams), they find a series of posters on the wall.

Further examination of the ropes and blindfolds leads them to discover that they are all marked with a symbol, and have some other interesting properties.
